How many people will your building hold?
We can accommodate up to 200+ guests in a wide variety of layouts. (Examples: fully seated wedding ceremony 2 to 200 guests, fully seated banquet style wedding reception with dance floor approx. 125-165 guests depending on layout, cocktail style wedding reception 200+ guests, banquet style seating without a dance floor approx. 200 guests).

What does it take to secure my date?
It takes a signed contract along with a 50% non-refundable down payment.
This will secure your date.

When is the balance due?  
The remaining rental fee balance and a $500 refundable security deposit are both due no later than 30 days prior to your event.

Can I rent more tables and chairs from 1 Memphis Street?
Yes.

Does 1 Memphis Street have a commercial catering kitchen?
Yes. It is equipped with a large ice machine, microwave, refrigerators, warming cabinet, three-hole sinks and prep tables. We provide our own catering with several menu options to choose from, provided to you at the first meeting at our location. If you decide you do not want to use our catering services, there is a $10/per person rental fee to utilize our kitchen space.
(Note: This is not a cooking kitchen just a food prep kitchen.)

Can I bring in my own caterer or food?

Do you allow alcohol in your building?
Yes. We provide a bartending service as well as alcohol of your choosing from our catering menus provided to you at the first meeting at our location. 

Is 1 Memphis Street handicapped accessible?
Yes. We are ADA compliant.

Do you have flat screens, TV, or audio capability?
Yes, we have three large wall mounted TVs and wifi access. Guests have the option to show slideshows, presentations and/or live TV.
The building is equipped with state of the art house sound and stage/dance floor lighting.

What about parking?  
There are 33 spaces right out our door with an additional 200 spaces on and around the square.

Most of my guests are staying in Southaven or Memphis. Is Hernando far?
Hernando proper is only 25 miles from the heart of downtown Memphis and 20 miles from the airport.
We’re only 10 miles south from Southaven.

What is the town of Hernando like?
Hernando boasts a charming small-town appeal, especially around the historic square where towering oaks and quaint buildings dominate the landscape.
Whether guests choose a bed and breakfast or larger accommodations in Hernando or Southaven, all locations are convenient to 1 Memphis Street.
